Dress Code

Below is our approved dress code for the 2024-25 school year. The dress code at Matthews Charter Academy is flexible, affordable, and designed to encourage student success. With less distractions and competition, our scholars can focus better in school.

School logo items (navy fleece logo jacket and navy logo crewneck sweatshirt) may be purchased through our spirit wear vendor. Use code MCA16.

Uniforms maybe ordered through the Uniform Store. If you need help paying for uniforms, please call the front office to discuss options.

  • Long or short-sleeve bright green, light blue, or white polo
  • Students may also wear a long or short-sleeve white dress shirt with optional navy blue/bright green tie
     

Bottoms

  • Solid navy blue pants, shorts, jumper, dress, or scooter

Shoes may be any color.

Shoes must be loafer style, dress shoes, or tennis shoes.

Open-toed shoes, sandals, boots, crocs, slides, shoes that light up, or shoes with wheels are not permitted.

Belts, if worn, must be plain solid black, navy blue, or brown.

Socks must be solid black, brown, navy blue, or white.

Tights and leggings worn underneath uniform bottoms must be solid white or navy blue.

Solid color navy blue fleece jackets or sweaters with school logo may be worn over uniform shirt. These items may be ordered through our Spirit wear vendor. Please use code MCA16.
