Dress Code
Below is our approved dress code for the 2024-25 school year. The dress code at Taylor Exemplar Academy is flexible, affordable, and designed to encourage student success. With less distractions and competition, our scholars can focus better in school.
Uniforms may be ordered through the Uniform Store. If you need help paying for uniforms, please call the front office to discuss options.
Y5-5 Students
Tops
- Bright green, gray, or white short or long-sleeve polo shirt
- Students may also wear solid navy blue, white, or black sweaters and vests
- Students may also wear pre-approved Taylor Exemplar Academy crew neck sweatshirts
Bottoms
- Solid navy blue pants, shorts, jumper, or scooter
6-8 Students
Tops
- Bright green, gray, or white short or long-sleeve polo shirt
- Middle school students may also wear a long or short-sleeve white dress shirt with a navy blue/bright green tie
- Students may also wear solid navy blue, white, or black sweaters and vests
- Students may also wear pre-approved Taylor Exemplar Academy crew neck sweatshirts

Shoes must be loafer style, dress shoes, or tennis shoes.
Athletic shoes with non-marking soles are to be worn for PE class.

Belts, if worn, must be plain solid black, navy blue, or brown.
Socks must be solid navy blue or white.
Tights and leggings worn underneath uniform bottoms must be solid white or navy blue.
