Targeting a 2025 opening, North Oak will be the latest school to offer small class sizes and warm, welcoming staff that parents across National Heritage Academies’ (NHA) network of over 100 schools have come to know as extended members of the community.
The small-group instruction NHA schools are known for has helped students bridge the gap in academic language for English language learners, allowed them to reach their potential in each subject, and has even compelled them to return to continue a circle of academic excellence.
For top-performing students, Excel-erate, an advanced learning program for all grade levels, is available. This program provides advanced students with the appropriate level of challenge, from kindergarten to eighth grade. K-5 students will be given accelerated content, and middle schoolers can earn high school credit, leaving them more prepared for the advanced courses they will see in high school. To be admitted into the program, students must meet test score requirements and receive recommendation from a teacher.
