Milwaukee Scholars Charter School students and families let their creative juices flow during their first-ever Paint and Punch Night. A representative from local paint studio, Painting with a Twist, visited the school and led the group by providing detailed instructions to create beautiful and vibrant masterpieces.
Scholars and their families enjoyed a fun evening creating colorful animal portraits, including elephants who formed a heart with their trunks.
“This was the perfect event to kick off spring break, allowing our families to spend time together,” said Patricia Ruiter, admissions representative at Milwaukee Scholars. “This was an exciting event and created a lot of fun and memories!”
Nearly 50 individuals participated and sipped on the fruit punch while drawing out their inner Picassos during the two-hour event.
“Sharan Fifer, the school’s registrar, and the Family Involvement Committee did an amazing job orchestrating the event,” said Ruiter.
Keep up the creativity, Milwaukee Scholars!
