Hamtramck was also recognized as a Standout Middle School in Michigan, ranking third on that list, while the school’s elementary section was ranked fifth on the Standout Elementary Schools in Michigan list. At the local level, Hamtramck ranked second on the Standout Elementary Schools in Detroit list and third on the Standout Middle Schools in Detroit list.
