U.S. News & World Report: Excel Charter Academy Ranks in Top 10 for Best Charter Elementary, Middle Schools in Michigan

Excel Charter Academy was ranked sixth on the Best Charter Elementary Schools in Michigan list, according to U.S. News & World Report in its 2024 school rankings. Excel Charter Academy’s middle school program also ranked ninth on the Best Charter Middle Schools in Michigan list.

The school, which has outperformed the local district for 14 years, was praised for its math and reading performance at all levels. Math and reading performance levels in elementary and middle school were rated well above expectations.

National Heritage Acadmies (NHA) charter schools dominate the list of Michigan's top charter middle schools. An article on The Livingston Post's website summarizes NHA school's success.

This marks the third year of the U.S. News & World Report ranking elementary and middle schools. The organization has provided go-to resources for parents and students at the high school and college levels for years.
