Safety Program

School safety program ensures a secure environment where students can focus on learning and personal growth. We employ comprehensive measures to address physical security and crisis management.

 Visitor Management

  • All exterior doors are closed and locked during the school day.
  • All visitors, including parents/guardians, must sign in at the front office and provide a valid photo ID.
  • While at the school they must wear a visitor's badge that is kept visible at all times. Visitors without a visible visitor's badge will be redirected to the front office.
  • Visitors must sign out at the front office before leaving the building.

 Secure Building

  • Building entries are monitored by staff during arrival and dismissal.
  • All classroom doors remain locked during instruction.
  • Visitors can only enter the building through the front office.

 Drills

Throughout the school year, drills are consistently carried out to prepare both staff and students to respond in the event of an emergency.

 Staff Support

  • We have a trained safety team that supports safety initiatives at our school.
  • Staff members immediately report all concerning behavior, including threats and physical safety concerns, to the appropriate leader.
  • Arrival and dimissal is supervised by assigned staff members to ensure safety of all students.
  • Recess is closely monitored by assigned staff members to ensure appropriate adult supervision.

Your Role in Keeping Our School Safe

Parents, you play a key role in helping create a safe and secure learning environment. You can support this by being respectful to staff, following the drop-off and pick-up procedures, and having conversations with your students about important safety topics.
