Warrendale Ends School Year with Carnival

Warrendale Charter Academy treated its students to an end of the year celebration they will never forget.

“The kids had a blast,” said Monica Russell, a third-grade teacher at Warrendale.

On the last day of school, the students visited a variety of stations on the playground including a video truck, a petting zoo, an ice cream truck, and carnival games.

“Carnival was awesome!,” said Shanika McClendon, a fifth-grade teacher at Warrendale whose students enjoyed the festivities. “Video games, ice cream, bounce houses, a petting zoo and a DJ to bring it all together. It made me wish I was a child again.”
