Welcome to Kindergarten! Take the next step in your child’s educational journey by joining us for our Grow With Us series at Wake Forest Charter Academy! This exciting event is designed to give your child the chance to meet our friendly teaching staff while engaging in fun, age-appropriate activities that help us support their readiness for kindergarten. We will have 3 Grow With Us events throughout the spring for families to attend. Each event will GROW on the previous event where students and parents are given new information, activities, and learning materials at each event. What you can expect: -Students will be taken to down to classrooms with our kindergarten teachers while you remain in the current room for a presentation. -Your child will participate in hands-on activities to help our teachers better understand their strengths and learning style. -Parents will get an informational presentation from our Kindergarten Dean, Felicia McMenemy, where you will get your questions answered, and learn more about what makes Wake Forest Charter Academy unique! You will also be given learning materials to use with your scholar at home to prepare them for kindergarten. This is a wonderful opportunity to set your child up for success in kindergarten, and we look forward to welcoming you to our school community!
