Every year, NHA celebrates the finest educators in its system of schools by highlighting outstanding teachers in four categories: Grades K-1, Grades 2-5, Grades 6-8, and co-curricular. There are 15 finalists in each category out of nearly 3,000 teachers. The finalists are determined by a number of factors including student test scores, annual performance evaluations, and parent satisfaction data.

“Jessica does a wonderful job connecting with her students and keeping them engaged in the classroom,” said Principal Zack Perfitt. “We are so proud to see her recognized in the top two percent of teachers in NHA’s network of schools.”
