Many Sky Ranch families and students were in attendance, along with the school’s leadership team and staff. Founding Principal Mary Romke led the event, which was filled with excitement about the coming school year. Other speakers included Jason Pater, interim CEO of National Heritage Academies, and Mark Harding, board president and treasurer.
Pater shared, “At NHA we believe in high-quality educational opportunities for all families. We’re excited about the opening of Sky Ranch Academy. We know that education changes lives, and this is just the beginning of many great things to come for Sky Ranch Academy.”
After the ribbon cutting, everyone was invited for a tour of the school and ice cream. Then, students decorated the sidewalks with chalk, sharing words of encouragement for the first day of school.
This year, Sky Ranch Academy will offer grades K-7, with plans to add one grade per year through grade 12. Congratulations on your brand-new school, Sky Ranch!
