Students were joined by their families at the high school fair.
Guidance Counselor Camille Howell coordinated the event, the second of its kind for the school, and students were given gifts and plenty of information about the offerings at the schools.
Families interact as they learn about high school options.
Students were seen leading their families from table to table, as representatives from the high schools informed them about the specialties that each offered. Some schools touted their programs for math and science, while others promoted their business and computer science coursework.
Riverton scholars learn about one of the many high schools during the fair.
Schools that participated include United Charter High Schools, St. Francis Preparatory School, Pathways College Preparatory School, Williamsburg Charter High School, The Mary Louis Academy, Business Technology Early College High School, Prep for Prep, New Visions Charter High School for Advanced Math & Science, Friends Academy, Cambria Heights Academy, Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School, and The City University of New York Explorers.
Great work providing options for your scholars!
