On March 24, Queen's Grant Community School scholars, teachers, administrators, and families participated in the 3-2-1 Dash for Down Syndrome to raise funds for the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Charlotte, N.C.
Each year, the school dedicates a Jeans Day to raising money for the organization, but this year Queen’s Grant became a sponsor of the 3-2-1 Dash.“We had the opportunity to talk to families in the community about our great school and also support the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Charlotte,” said Katie Joaquin, Queen’s Grant school ambassador.
The mission of the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Charlotte (DSAGC) is to enhance the quality of life for all individuals with Down Syndrome by providing information and support to individuals, families, professionals and the community through education and social activities.
Great job, Queen’s Grant!
