PreEminent Holds Ties and Tiaras Dance

Students danced the night away as PreEminent held their first father-daughter dance, Ties & Tiaras, for kindergarten- through fifth-grade students. The dance brought in over 150 students, fathers, grandfathers, guardians, and more.

Lower elementary students were able to create their own tiaras before entering the dance floor where they did a variety of dances with fathers and staff.

“We are always looking to strengthen the relationship between our families and the school,” said Dan Owen, admissions representative at PreEminent Charter School. “We know how much our fathers and grandfathers can go under the radar, we need to recognize their importance to the development of their child and it’s events like these that recognize them.”

Families that have shown interest in PreEminent and have applied for next school year were also in attendance.

“Attendees absolutely loved the event. We have been getting compliments all week,” said Owen. “Now the moms are asking when we are doing a mom and son event! One parent told me, ‘My daughter hasn't stopped talking about it.’”

PreEminent now plans on holding Ties & Tiaras annually.
