The winner of National Heritage Academies’ (NHA) top honor, the Founder’s Award, was praised for its middle school math and reading performance. The school, which has outperformed the local district since it opened in 2012, rated well above expectations in middle school reading and math performance.
This marks the fourth year of the U.S. News & World Report ranking elementary and middle schools. The organization has provided go-to resources for parents and students at the high school and college levels for years.
Rankings were determined by analyzing math and reading proficiency, state assessments and how schools performed compared to expectations. Read more about the ranking’s methodology on the U.S. News website.
