Linden Charter Academy recently held their annual Back to School Bash that aimed to spark enthusiasm in their school community for their first day of school on Sept. 3.
Families had the opportunity to meet their teacher, receive information from Linden staff regarding school initiatives, and learn about what is going on in the local community that can support their child. Attendees got the chance to win prizes while enjoying the bounce house, video game truck, and DJ.
“New students have the opportunity to get immersed into the Linden culture and returning families are able to jump back into the positive culture with a fun and entertaining experience prior to the start of school,” said Carly Schwan, academic intervention coach at Linden Charter Academy. “All families get to see happy, positive attitudes and receive a great welcome back to school.”
This event came in light of National Back to School Month, which gears up parents, teachers, schools, and students for a new season of education.
