National Heritage Academies (NHA), one of the nation’s largest charter school management companies, honored its top performing schools, including Keystone Academy, during its 17th Annual Eagle Awards ceremony.
The event was held Monday, July 16, in Grand Rapids, Mich., with more than 500 principals and deans in attendance as part of a four-day Leadership Summit.
Keystone Academy was named a 4.5 school of excellence. The award is given to schools that had super performance in academic achievement and full enrollment for the previous school year.
“This is such an honor to receive from National Heritage Academies,” said Principal Keturah Godfrey. “I am so grateful for an outstanding team of teacher, student body, and supportive parents to help us reach our goals as a school. I cannot wait to share this with all of them!”
NHA rewards schools in other areas including parent satisfaction, employee engagement, student attendance, and state accountability.
