Attendees with children made their way to the Forsyth Academy booth which offered two free craft projects and plenty of information about the school and how to apply for admission.
“The park is the first European Settlement (Moravian Settlement) in North Carolina Piedmont, founded in 1753,” Forsyth Admissions Representative Stephenee Armas said. “The event saw unprecedented numbers this year.”
Third grade Teacher Annie Shoaf and Paraprofessional D.J. Williams joined Armas to help with the crafts and talk to parents about the school. So many children participated, more craft supplies were brought in to accommodate the afternoon crowd.
Armas said she was happy to have participated in a nice, family-oriented event while being supported by school staff.
“It was such a bright, happy day for the community, and partnering with teachers is so beneficial to families and admissions efforts. It was a great event!”
Thanks for all you do to support Forsyth, Stephenee!
