The school, which has outperformed the local district since it opened in 2007, was praised for its schoolwide math and reading performance. Canton’s elementary and middle schools both rated well above expectations in math and reading performance levels.
This marks the fourth year of the U.S. News & World Report ranking elementary and middle schools. The organization has provided go-to resources for parents and students at the high school and college levels for years.
Rankings were determined by analyzing math and reading proficiency, state assessments and how schools performed compared to expectations. Read more about the ranking’s methodology on the U.S. News website.
