Discover Our Difference

We believe in creating a strong sense of community and family where every student feels supported and valued. Through our Moral Focus Program and challenging college-prep education, we work together to help students build the knowledge, character, and skills they need to succeed. Our goal is for each student to grow as part of a caring community that encourages them to thrive in college, their careers, and in life.

We Reach Higher

We focus on every child’s unique needs, abilities, and interests. We set high standards, make expectations clear, personalize teaching, and as a result, our students thrive.

We Build Character

We make moral focus part of every school day. Virtues such as respect, perseverance, and compassion are essential to what kids need to succeed. Students learn the importance of making good decisions and doing the right thing in life.

We Expect More

Our students are taught how to make wise choices, consider consequences, and take responsibility for their actions. Our “no excuses” approach helps kids learn at a young age that strong character is developed through personal responsibility.

We Work Together

Our teachers make a point of being available to discuss your child’s progress. When parents, teachers, and students work together, they form a powerful connection between home and school – a partnership that can change a child’s life.

Safety

Students require a safe and orderly place to learn and do their best. Safety practices are in place to keep our doors locked and for visitors to check in at the office before going into the school. We also provide safety training to all staff and students. Bullying is not tolerated and students are expected to be kind to others and demonstrate respect and courtesy at all times.

Paramount Charter Academy also partners with OK2SAY, a nationally recognized program designed to enhance school safety by giving students the tools to step up and speak out when they are concerned about their safety or the safety of another.

NHA Shines: Stanford Study Shows Our Students Surpass Their Peers by 3.5 Months Each Year

A recent Stanford study shows NHA partner-school students continue to outperform their traditional public school peers. They do so by gaining nearly three-and-a-half months of additional learning. NHA also earned the new “gap busters” designation for outstanding progress in eliminating learning disparities for minority and poverty students.
