Helping your child succeed in school starts with making sure they go to school every day. Of course, that’s often easier said than done. Even on good days, getting everyone ready and out the door can be hard. If you add car trouble, a sick child, or a change in your work schedule, it can feel overwhelming.
At National Heritage Academies, we understand these challenges and are here to support you. If you’re having a tough time getting your child to school, try setting up a carpool with a neighbor, asking a friend or family member for help, or checking out public transportation options.
For minor illnesses, like a cold or cough, ask your child’s school when it’s okay to attend and when they should stay home. Let the school know if your child will be absent and why. Good communication helps everyone work together to solve problems and keep kids in class.
If you’re having trouble with regular attendance, reach out to your school. We’re here to support you and help your child succeed.
