Early College at National Heritage Academies is a five-year educational plan that allows your student to complete high school and go on to earn an associate degree or certificate, tuition-free.
As Early College Programs have grown in popularity over the past two decades, The American Institute for Research (AIR) has tracked their effectiveness and the findings are impressive. Early College students:
- Were more likely to graduate high school and earn two- and four-year college degrees
- Performed better than their peers in traditional high schools
- Report a positive school experience
- Equally benefited all students regardless of gender, race/ethnicity or family income
- Graduate with less debt
- A variety of options. In addition to earning up to 60 college credits and an associate degree for free, our program offers multiple pathways for students vs. prematurely limiting their options. This is unique because most Early College programs are limited to a single professional track or certification.
- Our comprehensive support team. From building a personalized pathway to providing ongoing support well into their fifth year, your child will have experienced guides helping them navigate every step of their Early College experience. This support team will include school counselors, advisors, an academic coach, and other faculty members.
- Monitoring and communication. The Early College Program includes academic support to ensure your child is maintaining academic standards. We will also provide regular parent updates.
