The Ohio State Board of Education offers an Alternative Resident Educator License for those who did not complete a traditional degree in education. Alternative certification routes are often shorter and more cost effective for educators who are changing careers or who have already obtained their bachelor's degree outside of education.

Available Alternative License Areas

  • World Languages (P-12)
  • Intervention Specialist (K-12)
